Environmental Resolutions Inc.’s (ERI) Certified Flood Plain Managers (CFM) and professional engineers have a broad range of technical and practical knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and design of stormwater management systems. Projects range from minor design “fixes” for small, localized flooding issues to major drainage studies. ERI has the capacity to perform design and modeling of complex systems consisting of multiple watersheds for entire municipalities and other large-scale endeavors.
Types of stormwater management projects we can assist you with include:
- Regulatory Compliance
- Flood Proofing and Mitigation
- Retrofitting and reconstructing aging infrastructure to accommodate increases in stormwater flow caused by the development of upstream watersheds
ERI’s staff of professionals is knowledgeable in the most recent NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) regulations and design criteria. We have designed countless projects implementing various Best Management Practices (BMP) and Manufactured Treatment Devices (MTD). Our experience includes the design of BMPs such as, but not limited to, constructed wetlands, bio-retention basins, sand filters and rain gardens. All designs seek to maximize the usable space of the project site while implementing low impact, non-structural strategies to the maximum extent practical. All calculations and modeling are performed using the most current Drainage Design software.
