Ocean County Landfill, Manchester, NJ

The Ocean County Landfill (OCLF) is an operating landfill of approximately 700 acres.  The landfill accepts municipal waste from Ocean County.  New cells are constructed with a double composite liner and a primary and secondary leachate collection system.  All construction is as per NJDEP regulations and is monitored by NJDEP.  ERI personnel provide the services of Construction Services Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, Resident Manager, Geotechnical Quality Control Monitors, Geosynthetic Quality Control Monitors and Geosynthetic Quality Assurance Laboratory services as they relate to construction of new cells and capping of existing cells.  These services have included specific tasks such as Operation Certification, Preparation and Review of Record Plans, Construction Quantity and Quality Verification and Certification, Coordination of Quality Control Procedures, Review of Plans, Specifications, Shop Drawings, Field Changes and Supervision of Surveying Services for Cell Construction.
