Environmental Resolutions, Inc. (ERI) was retained by Cherry Hill Township to design and create construction documents for installation of a dog park at Croft Farm. The project reclaimed an existing public works storage yard and converted it into a dog park while tying into the existing trails system.
ERI prepared a series of concept plans and exhibits in order for the Township to obtain grants to be used for construction of the park. These concepts paired with sample products/amenities to provide a vision that would maintain the historic character of the adjacent farm and park.
The park was designed to ensure easy access and provide adequate space for both large and small dogs. The total area of the dog park is approximately 29,000 SF. In addition, the adjacent stone parking lot was reconfigured to allow for maximum efficiency.
The park includes accessible parking spaces, concrete sidewalks, an informational kiosk, drinking fountains, three (3) rail wood fencing with wire, access from both the main parking lot and existing trail system utilizing a double-gate system, and an all-wood shade pavilion complete with picnic tables, sod and native landscaping.
