ERI was retained as LSRP of Record for the Glassboro Town Square project, which connects the Borough’s downtown area with Rowan University. The property had previously been used for a variety of industrial and commercial uses, including a glass factory, sewing factory, and firehouse. ERI completed a Remedial Investigation/Area of Concern Remedial Action Report, which detailed previously conducted remedial activities in the soil, and discussed the delineation of groundwater contamination and presented an Area of Concern Response Action Outcome for the Areas of Concern. The Borough of Glassboro utilized this information to obtain funding from Green Acres for the development of the Town Square property. ERI also assisted the Borough with obtaining HDSRF funds for remedial activities conducted, and for ongoing groundwater monitoring.
