Fairview Standpipe Rehabilitation Project

Fairview Standpipe Rehabilitation Project

Environmental Resolutions Inc. lead the rehabilitation of the 400,000-gallon standpipe located off of Fairview Road in Medford Township, New Jersey. Work consisted of homeland security improvements, equipment upgrades, tank cleaning, lead-based paint abatement, and repainting of the tank interior and exterior. In addition to the tank rehabilitation, improvements were made to the utility vault on site, including the addition of a utility building over the vault. As the Water Department’s entire SCADA system operates out of this site, an 8kW natural gas emergency generator was installed on site to enable the SCADA system to continue operating during power outages. All electric associated with the SCADA system was relocated to the interior of the utility vault building once on site. ERI also prepared the necessary bid documents and plans to construct these projects.  Pictured above are ERI’s Vice President Bill Kirchner next to the dish that was removed for painting and EIT Eric Pluckhorn inspecting the repainting and repairs.
